Aluminium Thermally Broken System - Triple Glazed

System Information

A new development from Vitral, a sustainable system with impressive performance, the system is another thermally broken aluminium system with a depth of profile of 98 mm, however, with a triple glazed unit as standard U values of 0.79 W/m2K can be achieved for the system as a whole with a mid pane value of 0.5 W/m2K.

The system is manufactured from a combination of glass, aluminium, plastic and rubber with an embedded PUR core, all of which are recyclable. The finish to panel frames can be either natural anodized or polyester powder coated in a RAL colour of choice.

The A98 system can have every second panel opening (subject to overall design) as with Vitral’s other systems these opening vents are not visible externally, however, this has been further developed with A98 where opening vents can have hidden electronic actuators which can be concealed within the system, panels may also be opened using surface mounted actuators.

A98 has a profile height of 98mm with a visible width of 52mm, panel dimensions can be between 260mm  – 3500mm high and 260mm – 1200mm wide but a maximum area of 3.0m2. Single pitch can be between 15 and 90 degrees, double pitch self supporting can be between 25 and 60 degrees but can be down to 15 degrees if fully supported.

The A98 system is CE marked in accordance with DS/EN14351-1.
